This intimate roundtable event with producer Jack Tarling will take place at Tyneside Cinema on Wednesday 23rd August, ahead of a Q&A screening of his keenly anticipated latest feature: GOD’S OWN COUNTRY. Hear first-hand about Jack’s journey from Northumbria University to scooping a raft of coveted prizes at Sundance, Berlin and Edinburgh.
The event will open up from an ‘in conversation’ format, addressing a range of topics key to producers and other filmmakers alike, including financing structures, casting, festival and post-theatrical strategy, building a slate, working with directors, and the work-life of a creative producer. The small group environment will allow us to open up discussion among those attending, so you have the chance to discuss your own projects with Jack directly.
