Posted: 26th April 2016

A programme of films by Sebastian Buerkner, Saeed Taji Farouky and Jessica Sarah Rinland is presented in this temporary screening space in BALTIC’s project space at BALTIC 39 from 20 April - 8 May.

As part of The Artist’s Cut all three artists have received support to produce a short narrative film for release on Channel 4’s Random Acts network. A selection of their existing work is screening at BALTIC 39, giving wider context to their individual practices.

The Artist’s Cut is a national artist-filmmaker development programme and commission delivered by Northern Film & Media in partnership with BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival and Channel 4. This initiative is designed to develop new and original voices for cinema and television.
