The Production Guild is offering two opportunities for those looking to get into TV drama and film and specifically to launch a career in film and TV drama locations
The Production Guild's Runner Training on 05 and 06 October in Salford is designed to help prepare those wanting to work in the film and television industry. The course is delivered by leading film and television industry professionals and will cover what is expected in such a demanding yet rewarding work environment. It will also help to channel ambition into achievable career routes in film and television. The course explores the knowledge and skills of production and floor runners.

Location Assistant Training
The Production Guild has also launched a three day intensive course designed for those specifically interested in working within the locations department in the film and TV industry. Taking place on 05 - 07 October in Salford, those taking part will be given a unique insight into what it takes to be a valuable member of the location team. From the creative beginnings to the logistical and detailed planning of the shoot, you will be shown how the location department is essential to the filmmaking process.
If you wish to work in locations, this course will enable you to start working on productions equipped with processes, etiquette and knowledge required. Over the 3 days you will be guided by respected and established film and television personnel, who can help you to focus your ambition and expectations.
