NFM Academy TV and Film Bootcamp (15 March)

The fourth edition of our one-day accelerator Bootcamp, designed to help you find out more about working in film and TV production as well as how to become a trainee with NFM Academy, takes place in Sunderland on 15 March.

Supported by Creative Skillset, NFM Academy aims to increase the North East’s crew base by identifying skills shortages and implementing training and up-skilling opportunities within production, with a particular focus on high-end drama.

With sessions on what to expect working in the industry, how to perfect your CV, and what being a freelancer means – as well as insights from an experienced industry panel giving their top tips for getting into and getting on in the industry – Bootcamp is a must.

Attendance at Bootcamp is a prerequisite for becoming an Academy trainee. Delegates must be aged 18 or over. 3rd year undergraduate and postgraduate students are welcome. 

Refreshments and lunch provided.

When: Tuesday 15 March, 9.30am – 4.00pm (registration from 9.15am).

Where: Sunderland University
