Dene Films has been commissioned by CBBC to produce a new documentary by BAFTA-nominated director Chris Chapman.
Dene and Chapman will partner to make 'My Life: I Am Ethan' - the story of profoundly deaf 10-year-old, Ethan who “may not hear music, but very definitely feels it”.The film is part of CBBC’s My Life series.
It's a real thrill to get the chance to work with CBBC again, and I couldn't be more excited about this film. Ethan is a terrifically charismatic young man, and I can't wait to introduce him to a wider audience," said Chapman.
It's great to see Dene winning more broadcast commissions, and building on the success - a great reflection on the work the whole team has put in and the faith of CBBC," added Dene Films’ Steve Salam, executive producer of the film alongside Richard Marson.
Meanwhile, Dene is currently “looking for enthusiastic young people with a desire to help produce film, television and TV commercials”. Click here for further details.
