Those interested in Northern Film & Media's new ERDF-backed development and market access funds are advised to note this year's application deadlines, which are as follows:
Up to £1.5k development funding is available for film, TV and digital media projects through NFM’s Film, Television and Digital Development Fund. Meanwhile, NFM’s Market Access Fund will award grants of up to £300 to assist creative SME’s in attending strategic international festivals, markets and events. We have also now announced a new company development fund of upto £3k to pilot innovative new revenue generating activity within established film, tv and digital media companies.
Creative SME’s in the North East region (Northumberland, Tees Valley, Tyne and Wear, County Durham) are eligible to apply. Applicants must provide a minimum of 25% cash and 25% in kind match.
“These funds will develop exciting North East projects and help bring them to international audiences at key markets and festivals,” said John Tulip, Northern Film & Media’s managing director.
“Development and market access continue to be important components of NFM’s wider offer of events, talent initiatives, business development and production services.”
