Posted: 3rd September 2012

The Port of Tyne has confirmed actor David Parfitt, author David Almond, cricketer Paul Collingwood MBE, broadcaster Steve Cram MBE, photographer Pete Zulu and ex-BBC weather forecaster Trai Anfield for this year's Reflect Film & Photography Awards.

Advising the judges are Northern Film & Media managing director John Tulip, North News & Pictures Ted Ditchburn and Port of Tyne’s Susan Wear.

Created by the Port of Tyne, the Reflect photo and film awards has grown to become one of the biggest competitions of its kind in North East England.

“I’m thrilled to be a judge – being originally from Sunderland I’m passionate about the North East,” said Parfitt, whose film credits include The Madness of King George, Shakespeare in Love, My Week with Marilyn and Parade’s End.

Entries are open until 28 September – click here for full details.
