Creative Producers/Story Editors required for NFM's project surgeries

Northern Film & Media are looking to secure the services of experienced film industry professionals (producers, writers, directors, story editors) to run a series of script and project development surgery sessions for North East based film and television companies.

A surgery session will include reading a treatment or script in advance. Creating up to 2 pages of written notes and holding a 1hr Skype session with the filmmaker/writer.

We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with experience in any of the following areas: Science Fiction, children's television, feature docs, sit-com

We are looking for people who can show evidence of the following:

-       At least 3 years’ experience in the development and production of feature film or broadcast television

-       Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

-       Experience of mentoring early stage filmmakers and writers

-       Strong networks within the film or television 

We are looking to secure these services on an ad-hoc basis in response to the needs of the sector from 1st December 2013 to the 30th March 2014.

Fee must be quoted including VAT. Fee does not include travel and accommodation expenses which will be paid by Northern Film & Media if required
