BFI and Screen Yorkshire Filmmakers and Production Day

Filmmakers and Production Day is a unique opportunity to hear and debate with top industry leaders about the state of the UK film industry and how to bring more production to the North.

Hosted by the BFI and Screen Yorkshire as part of the Bradford Film Summit (4 - 6 March), the day will include:

  • Meet the funders: Who are they, what are they looking for? With a particular focus on financing out of London and in the North
  • How do we attract more production to the North? What are the game-changers?
  • A bigger picture: How the UK film landscape is shaping up in facts and figures
  • How to qualify a project as British and access the creative sector tax reliefs

Filmmakers and Production Day takes place on Thursday 05 March from 9:45 am - 4pm, followed by a drinks reception, at: Cubby Brocolli Cinema, National Media Museum, Pictureville, Bradford, West Yorkshire BD1 1NQ.

Filmmakers and Production Day is presented in partnership with Bradford UNESCO City of Film as part of the Bradford Film Summit.
