The British Academy of Film & Television Arts and Rocliffe are on the hunt for fresh comedy writing talent.
Open to all writers who are currently living in the UK or of UK citizenship, the competition will see three projects selected to be showcased at an event at BAFTA. These finalist writers will go on to be involved in a wide range of development opportunities, including workshops and events.
BAFTA and Rocliffe are looking for new talent that demonstrate industry potential. Projects that receive more than four nominations from BAFTA Rocliffe panel will be published on the forum list – with the name, title and synopsis of the recommended scripts.
BAFTA and Rocliffe run four different script calls throughout the year: TV Drama, Comedy Writing, Writing for Children, and Film. All competitions are judged by a script selection panel, selected with for their proven expertise in that medium.
