Tyneside Cinema: A Story Of Children And Film plus Mark Cousins Q&A

Tyneside Cinema is delighted to welcome critic and filmmaker Mark Cousins for a special screening of his new film A Story Of Children And Film. A passionate, poetic celebration of both childhood and the movies, The film references 53 great films from 25 countries, including classics such as E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial and The Red Balloon, as well as dozens of unknown masterpieces creating a portrait of the adventure of childhood: its surrealism, loneliness, fun, destructiveness and stroppiness. 


Mark Cousins will introduce the film and then take part in a Q&A after the screening.
