This seminar on audiences and marketing, led by a panel of distributors, producers and sales agents, is part of 'Triangle', a national development initiative for emerging UK feature film writers, directors and producers, run by Northern Film & Media and Screen Yorkshire, with support from Creative Skillset and ERDF.
The session will cover a range industry critical considerations including: the impact of new technologies on the distribution and consumption of film; how producers can get noticed and what the panel are looking for; how does an emerging producer approach you and at what stage and with what materials; what are now the key festivals/markets and what kind of deals can be made; and where does the money go? Panelists are Piers Tempest (Salt), Peter Gerrard (Distrify) and Alison Meese (Studiocanal).
