'Undercover' Preview Q&A Screening

Working in partnership with Bonfide Films and UKTV, we will be holding a special Q&A preview screening of Undercover – a brand new original sitcom and produced by Bonafide and Baby Cow Productions for UKTV’s Dave Channel.

Shot in the region with a cast featuring BAFTA award winner Daniel Rigby (Eric and Ernie) and Sarah Alexander (Green Wing, Coupling), Undercover is the story of traffic policeman Chris (Rigby) – a neurotic, over analytical, metrosexual who is also an undercover policeman in a vicious Armenian crime family called the Sarkissians. His day-to-day tasks mainly revolve around not getting killed and blending in with excessively violent gangsters. Couldn’t be simpler….

See the first two episodes from the six part Dave series, months before TX, in the company of the show’s producer Margery Bone, originator and co-writer Andy Milligan and director Dave Lambert (Alan Partridge, The Mighty Boosh).

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Margery, Andy and Dave, who will share their experience of the production and insights into a range of issues vital to emerging talent – including how to make a fresh and successful genre piece, managing a co-production, and production out-of-London.

When: Tuesday 19 May. Registration from 5.45pm for a prompt 6.00pm start. Ends 8.00pm.

Where: Tyneside Cinema (Roxy, 3rd floor), Pilgrim Street, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, NE1 6QA.
