Northern Film & Media and Royal Television Society will be hosting a preview Q&A screening of the new CBBC drama Harriet’s Army at BALTIC in Gateshead on Wed 16 July.
Filmed in the North East earlier in the year, Harriet's Army is a gripping drama set during World War One, following a group of children in a small English town as they hold the Home Front and discover the true enemy within.
Starring Ciara Baxendale (My Mad Fat Diary) alongside an ensemble cast, Harriet's Army highlights the astonishing and genuinely important role played by children and young people during World War One.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A chaired by Chris Jackson with key members of the production team, crew and cast including producer Foz Allan, lead actress Ciara Baxendale , Helen Bullough (Head, CBBC Productions), director Stewart Svaasand (tbc), and Jo Ward (Executive Producer).
When: Wednesday 16 July. Registration from 6.45pm for a prompt 7.15pm start (latecomers may be refused admission). The screening and Q&A will be followed by celebration drinks. Ends 10.00pm.
