One-day pitching workshop with Kate Leys at London Film School (01 and 08 May)

Pitching has the mythical status of a dark art, but really it’s just fancy talk for telling your story. Come to this special day at The London Film School and let script editor Kate Leys(TRAINSPOTTING, THE FULL MONTY) tell you how to do it in a way that makes sense.

Ideal for anyone preparing for Cannes, the morning session will consider pitching as an art and a science: how to do it, who to do it to, what to say, when, and why. The session will also look briefly at the key principles of storytelling: in the end it’s the story you’re telling that makes a pitch work so it’s definitely worth getting that right. The day will finish with an opportunity to practice, by pitching a project of your own to a small panel of industry guests.

Two dates are available - choose from Friday 01 and Friday 08 May 2015. Each day runs from 10am to 6pm.

For more information on the course and about how to book please click here for 01 May and here for 08 May. A 15% discount is available. Please use code KATE15 when booking online
