Brief Description

The “Creative Pop Ups” offer ways to develop ideas and projects in order to give them the best chance of actually happening in an increasingly competitive marketplace.

Based on original content developed by the BBC’s Creative Leadership Programme the material brings together creative tools and techniques with insights into leadership skills.

This is not a pitching opportunity but a chance to work on ideas, projects or proposals and get them ‘pitch ready’.

The "Creative Pop Ups" are designed to support the ideas of a new, diverse UK talent base which will go on to be the next generation of technology and format developers, writers, artists and producers.

A large proportion of the BBC has benefited from the programme yet many within the indie and freelance community have been unable to attend due to cost.

The organisers are delivering nine one-day "Creative Pop Ups" for production companies, individuals and organisations working in the fields of art, theatre, technology and media across the UK.

Each "Creative Pop Up" will take 10-15 people at a time though creative tools, techniques to inspire and motivate teams and ways to influence others that your ideas are the best!

The organisers anticipate high demand for places on this course. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis subject to meeting the course pre-requisites.
