An Evening With Kay Burley

Kay Burley is the longest serving female newsreader on British Television and part of the original SKY NEWS team when it launched some 25 years ago.  A skilled journalist, she starting her career in local press before moving to local radio and is currently a free-lance presenter on London's LBC.

Afternoons with Kay Burley on SKY NEWS attracts a large audience and because it's a daily show, she's often anchoring the station when the world's biggest news stories break, such as 9/11, The Twin Towers and the death of Lady Diana.  Sometimes criticised for being insensitive and direct, her style has meant she's remained at the top of her game for nearly three decades.  In this event, Kay will talk to John Myers about her own journey in media, the lessons she's learned along the way and what it takes to remain at the top for so long.
